Oshkosh Jazz Festival Meets the Arts has postponed its inaugural event planned for Aug. 18 at William Steiger Park until next summer, the group announced last weekend.
“Due to unforeseeable circumstances, Oshkosh Jazz Festival Meets the Arts is delayed to Aug. 17, 2019. The festival will remain in its original format,” organizer Agnes Footman said.
“Thank you to those individuals and companies who encouraged and supported us in bringing such a new festival with artistic flair to this city. Their support and vision are deeply appreciated.”
“Thank you to all for your understanding and we are looking forward to next year.” Footman said that more time was needed to gain the sponsorships to carry off the event that will allow them to incorporate more input and potential performances
