Penny C. Butler, age 58 of Oshkosh, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born on January 13, 1962 to the late George and Anna (Bowman) Butler in Detroit, MI.
Penny liked to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a jokester; she always had a joke to tell. In that respect she took after her father. She loved animals. She also loved to cook for her family, and that she got from her mother. Penny was a one-of-a-kind, wise beyond her years…soul. She had a heart of gold.
Penny is lovingly survived by her daughters, Bobby (Richard Kling) Williams and Crystal (Chris Thiele) Stapleton; son, Steve Wilson; grandchildren, Emma, Oliver, Lilliana, Bryce, Taytum, Olivia, Adrienne, Madison, Vincent, and Carlisle; sisters, Sandy (Robert), Joyce (Dave), Jenny (Eric); brother, James Butler. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Penny was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashlei Stapleton; grandson, Noah Williams; brothers, Calvin, Gary and George Butler; mother-in-law, Elaine Wilson.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
